A summary of 2020

Despite the Corona pandemic and a volatile start of the stock market year, Nordic Issuing has developed well during their first year as an own trademark within the Spotlight Group AB. We have not only developed well, we have had a successful first year with a lot of new assignments from our clients and partners, with whom we look forward to create longlasting relationships.

Nordic Issuing has during the past year conducted no less than 65 cases in total – nine IPO:s, thirtheen rights issues and fifteen warrant redemptions. We have also become a clearing member of Euroclear Sweden AB (the Swedish securities depositary central), which makes it possible for us to conduct other kinds of transactions such as issues based on the quota value and settlement (Delivery versus Payment) in the VPC Euroclear system.

Nordic Issuing has also become the first Swedish issuing agent to become a member of VP Securities A/S in Denmark – the Danish equivalent of Euroclear Sweden AB. This means Nordic Issuing are able to help listed and unlisted Danish companies in a whole new way, and partner up on a longlasting journey as their dedicated issuing agent.

During 2021, the focus will be to develop the company’s digital presence and IT systems to become even more efficient, making it possible to provide the best possible service to our clients and investors. Nordic Issuing want to be become the obvious choice for companies looking for an issuing agent, based on the quality, responsiveness and efficiency that we deliver.

The next step the upcoming year is to move into our own offices at Stortorget 3 in Malmö, to be able to develop as a business and independent scator in the financial market.
