Tendo was founded in 2016 with the ambition to help people with limited hand function in order to allow these people to take care of their everyday-tasks on thier own without help from a personal assistant. With this ambition Tendo contributes with a significant improvement regarding quality of life as well as personal independence.

The first product, Tendo OneGrip, is made to assist a person to grip, hold and release objects by pulling artificial tendon – like a puppeteer. It’s specially made for people who struggles with everyday activities due to e.g. a spinal cord injury. The product is minimalistic designed and is controlled fully intuitively by the body’s own movement and is able to react to a movement that the body it self is cannot respond to.
